Zoo Fun

We had a lot of fun at the zoo on Thursday.  A big THANKS to the parents that volunteered for our field trip.  We really appreciate you hanging out with us!

The red panda was a favorite for our class.

The first graders had an educational program before lunch.  We got to see a red tailed hawk, a tomato frog, a guinea pig, and a bull snake.

  • The last spelling test will be on Friday.
  • Our school nurse, Julie sent a note with a form home with your child last week.  Please fill out the form and send it back with your child.  Let me know if you have any questions about this.
  • There will be math homework on Monday and Tuesday.  The class will review for the unit 9 math test on Wednesday and take the test on Thursday.
  • The first graders are done with the fluency bags.  Please continue to use the fluency rubric over the summer.
  • I still have a few students that need to return library books.  Those need to be returned before school it out.
  • The first graders can bring an electronic to school on Monday.  This is our count down to the last day of school activity.
  • The students will finish up their iReady math and reading end of the year tests this week.  You will get a parent report this week.
