The first graders had a lot of fun at their Halloween party on Friday.  A big THANKS to all of the parents that were there and contributed to the party.  It was a huge success!

Our class watched a live streaming video on Thursday about drug safety.

The first graders learned facts about how the police officers use dogs to keep people safe from drugs.

The class learned how to program calculators in math.  They programed them to count up and back by specific numbers.  The first graders took Unit 3 math test on Thursday.  I will be sharing their test with you at conferences.  There will be math homework on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

  • Parent/Teacher Conferences are Tuesday and Thursday.  Please let me know if you do not know what time your child's conference is.
  • Spelling test will be on Friday.
  • Your child will bring home reading homework on Monday.  Please have your child return it by Friday.
  • October Reading BINGO sheets are due on Monday.  Your child will be getting another one for November.
