Oh What Fun!!!

Polar Express Party

The first graders enjoyed a variety of activities for the Polar Express party on Thursday.  Thanks to those that donated items.

The students wrote letters to Santa and were able to read his letters back to them on Friday.  The students were very excited, especially those that were on the "NICE" list!

One of the fun activities that the students did during the Christmas party was making pinecone ornaments.  They turned out great!

The class played Christmas BINGO during our party.  There were prizes for the winners.

The snack for the party was fun to make and eat!

The class listened to the book The Night Before the Night Before Christmas to exchange their books.  Every time Andon's mom would read a "th" word the students would pass the book to the left.  It was a lot of fun!

  • A BIG thanks to the parents that helped out with the party.  A great time was had by all.
  • Please try to read over break.  A marshmallow reading challenge sheet was sent home on Friday with your child. This is optional, but a fun way to get some reading in.
  • I hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas break.  See you next year!
